Blood is taken form the client, same as it would be if you are having a blood test, and then placed in centrifuge machine which separates and divides the white and red blood cells. The white cells, being the platelet plasma, is used on the treated area to perform the treatment.
Research has been able to show that PRP injections are able to speed up injury and healing needed after surgery. In addition, helping reduce pain and boost mobility. PRP injections also appear to reduce hair loss in female and male pattern baldness.
